While it may seem like all has been quiet since the end of our summer appeal, plenty has been going on behind the scenes to get ready for the January kick-off of our new project.

 

At WasteAid we have been working together with UK Aid to finalise the financial and project management aspects of the project.

Now we know how much has been raised, we can add the detail to exactly how much we can spend on different aspects of the project.

Meanwhile, our trainer and project manager Pierre Kamsouloum has moved down to Douala in preparation for the New Year.

Pierre has been meeting local community leaders, finalising arrangements with local government, contacting local suppliers and contractors as well has finalising the land we will be working on.
