With our growth plans well-underway, we are excited to welcome recent additions to the team.
At the end of 2019 Ray Georgeson MBE moved from the WasteAid board into the leadership team as Interim Executive Support, bringing decades of experience to help prepare us for the next phase of growth.
Ray is leading the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive.
We are looking for someone who matches our values, displays inclusive leadership and has a track record of delivering significant expansion. (Apply by 12 February.)
We have also recruited Project Officer Luther Hinga, who will provide support on the UKAid Match community plastics centre in Douala, Cameroon, as well as other WasteAid initiatives.
Luther says: “I’m looking forward to working with WasteAid on a number of projects as it represents a combination of my passions in waste management and international development. Since joining WasteAid, I have had a number of questions from young professionals looking to take up similar roles and it makes me feel positive for the future of the industry!
Through our work I hope to encourage more young people to consider the possibilities of a career in waste!”
