WasteAid is proud to announce new funding from the Norwegian Retailers’ Environment Fund.

WasteAid is pleased to announce they have been successful in securing funding from Norway’s largest private environmental fund, The Norwegian Retailers’ Environment Fund, which supports international projects to reduce plastic pollution.

This two year project will extend WasteAid’s current work in The Gambia, bringing about positive environmental outcomes by empowering vulnerable communities to reduce and recycle plastic waste through a local recycling facility, to scale and offer employment and improved livelihoods to youth in the waste sector. Plans to start implementing this project will begin in the coming weeks…
